During a BRICS Summit event, Brazilian Air Force (FAB) planes carried out a mission to refuel fighter jets mid-flight.

The demonstration was part of the security arrangements specially set up for the event, which took place on July 6 and 7 in Rio de Janeiro and gathered high-level international authorities.

The operation was carried out by the KC-390 Millennium aircraft, which can refuel both fighter jets and helicopters in the air.
